Create and edit a design in StoryCraft Studio

Start with a template, edit text and background colors, and save an editable announcement design.

Create a square announcement graphic from a template, replace its headline and supporting text, choose a page background, and save the editable project. This example uses the Big announcement template for a home services message.

Before you begin

Sign in to WundertreOS and confirm that the organization selector shows the organization where you want to create the design.

1. Open Design Studio

Select StoryCraft - Content & Media in the left navigation, then open Content Hub. In the STUDIOS section, select Design. Design Studio opens with a canvas in the center, content tabs on the left, and properties on the right.

2. Start with a template

Select Browse templates on the canvas. In Start with a template, select Big announcement. Its layout includes a headline, subline, small kicker, and a call-to-action pill. The template loads into the canvas as separate editable layers. Use the template as your starting layout. The following steps change the message and background while keeping its existing arrangement.

3. Find the layer you want to edit

Select the Layers tab on the left. The Big announcement template contains five layers:

  • CTA label: the words inside the call-to-action pill
  • CTA pill: the shape behind the call-to-action label
  • Subline: the supporting sentence below the headline
  • Headline: the main announcement
  • Kicker: the small text above the headline

Select a layer in this list to show its properties on the right. A selection outline on the canvas helps you confirm which element you are editing.

4. Replace the headline

Select Headline in Layers. In the right-hand properties panel, find the TEXT field below the layout controls. Select the existing text and replace it with your announcement. For this example, use two lines: A brighter home

starts here

Press Enter between the lines in the text field. Check the canvas as you edit, and keep the message short enough to fit the layout.

5. Update the supporting sentence

Select Subline in Layers and replace the contents of its TEXT field with Explore our home services. The same select-a-layer, edit-its-text workflow lets you update other text layers when your message calls for it.

6. Choose the page background

Click a blank area of the workspace outside the canvas to clear the layer selection. The right panel changes to PAGE, with Width, Height, and Fill controls. In this example, Width and Height are both 1080. Select the Fill color swatch and choose a background color. This example uses dark navy. Close the color picker and review the whole design to make sure the headline, subline, kicker, and call-to-action remain easy to read.

7. Review and save the design

Check the headline spelling and line breaks, read the supporting sentence, and make sure the call-to-action says what you intend. The example keeps BIG NEWS as its kicker and Learn more as its call-to-action label. Select Save in the upper-right corner to save the project for the first time. Later edits save automatically. Wait until the status reads All changes saved before leaving the editor.

Expected result

You have a saved, editable 1080 × 1080 announcement with your own text and background. Its five template layers remain available for later changes.
